AMS Global Logistics LLC (“AMS”) operates strictly as a Business-to-Business (B2B) logistics and consolidation provider. AMS provides services exclusively to authorized business partners operating under active contractual agreements.
AMS does not provide receiving, storage, forwarding, or shipping services for individual consumers.
From time to time, shipments are delivered to the AMS warehouse address that are intended for companies or courier services that no longer maintain an active relationship with AMS. Those entities were formally notified to cease use of the AMS address and were provided sufficient opportunity to inform their customers and retrieve any outstanding shipments.
Unauthorized Shipments
A shipment shall be deemed unauthorized when it:
- Is not associated with an active and authorized AMS business account;
- Is not properly registered within the AMS system; or
- Is addressed to an entity that is no longer approved to utilize AMS facilities.
Any shipment delivered to an AMS facility that meets the criteria above shall be deemed an unauthorized shipment. AMS does not accept custody of unauthorized shipments and assumes no responsibility for their handling.
No Bailment or Custodial Obligation
Delivery of goods to an AMS address without an active contractual relationship does not create:
- A bailment relationship;
- A storage agreement;
- A forwarding obligation; or
- Any duty of care by AMS.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AMS Global Logistics LLC shall bear no liability whatsoever for loss, damage, theft, delay, misdelivery, destruction, or disposal of unauthorized shipments.
Risk of loss remains solely with the sender and/or the courier used.
AMS reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse, return (where possible), discard, or otherwise dispose of unauthorized shipments without notice.
